What you should know about me

⏳ 11 Years of experience

I love what I do. Sunday blues don’t know me at all.

I am a very hard working individual – some might say too hard – with standards set at a very high bar. Solving complex problems is my forte.
I don’t see constraints as blockers but rather as creative sandboxes that define the boundary of the playground.

One of my strengths is my capacity to be highly adaptive to changes, business needs or technology environment. Never afraid to learn something new that can be useful, with a “yes and” attitude.

🤝 5Years managing helping and coaching people

I’ve had the chance to work with extremely talented and incredible people throughout my career. Every encounter giving me more and more tools that allows me to support others in a meaningful way.

Lately, I’ve been helping designers, marketers and software developers hone their craft by coaching them into becoming the best versions of themselves by guiding them in their professional and personal growth while also helping them overcome day-to-day challenges.

My deep care for my teammates translates into my every single action, some times to challenge and others to support.

I believe that leading by example is a major part in being a good leader and helping others grow.

💼 4Startups & enterprise companies

Since I’ve flourished at high-growth startup companies, I can truly say that I understand what “dynamic” and “up speed” work environment means!

It educated me in understanding the impact of every decision and brought me a challenge-everything mindset to come up with disruptive ideas that can bring products and businesses to a new level.

I’ve greatly appreciated how rewarding each contribution I’ve made could move the needle for the business.

While dealing with limited resources in smaller companies, at first, highlighted my creativity in bringing solutions that were cheap or made me roll up my sleeves to learn a new skill.I am also very familiar with corporate structures and how they operate from within.

Through the years, I’ve proven my efficiency at bringing in the right stakeholders to collaborate in listing project requirements, laying down milestones, exploring ideas or gathering feedback while also clearly communicating and articulating the evolution of the project at every step.

I’ve always had an owner’s mentality at work making me highly autonomous in my work and always come up with new ideas to test or new projects people can rally behind.

Prototyping tool of choice

Let’s face it, Figma has no rival.

From wireframes to high fidelity mockups, my go to is always Figma. Not only for speed of execution, but also because you can leverage your design systems while in the ideation phase and contribute back your new components if needed in the final design phase.

It’s a powerful tool that allows collaboration to flow and contextual feedback with other teammates or stakeholders.

User research tools

Product design starts with a pain point. Finding out what that pain point is and narrowing down where it originates can be as thrilling as designing mockups itself.

I am a very data-driven product designer and love to measure the success of newly launched features and continue to optimize the adoption through carefully defined KPIs.

I am fluent in using Mixpanel, Google Analytics and even SQL to find the answers to my questions, while in other situations, nothing beats a good ol’ Zoom meeting with highly engaged users.

Asset creation tools

Sometimes prototyping tools can’t get all the way there. And I’m a stickler for details!

I’m an expert in the whole Adobe Creative suite, but particularly master Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects for image manipulation, vector illustrations or video animations.

Technology stack

What I got is strong web fundamentals and cloud technology expertise.

I’ve been sharpening my CSS skills like a ninja for over 11 years now. There’s nothing more satisfying than writing down a bunch of properties in one go and getting it all perfect the first time.

Here’s a shortlist of languages and services I’m comfortable with:
• HTML 5
• CSS 3
• Javascript
• React
• Node.js
• Pretty much the full suite of AWS services
